Before posting, please read and obey the following rules, guidelines and policies.
Posting to our forums is a privilege, not a right. With that being said, members/participants are expected to conduct themselves in an appropriate manner. While our forum host has their own set of rules, guidelines and policies, we too carry our own. I can not emphasize how important it is for all members to read and abide to the rules below:
- Trolling: X-Factor Automotive has a zero tolerance policy towards trolling. You are to NOT submit any threads or posts with the intent to initiate conflict. This is a serious offense, and members found in violation will be dealt with accordingly.
- Spamming: Again, another one of our zero tolerance policies. This is your warning: violators who choose to post messages that contain spam will not only have their posts removed, but they will also have their account suspended or banned indefinitely.
- Insubordination: Harassment, slander, or disrespect to any one of our staff is not tolerated. Any member found in violation to this rule is subjected to have their account suspended or banned indefinitely. This is our third zero tolerance policy.
- Offensive Content: Offensive content is not permitted at these forums. Anything that is abusive, harmful, threatening, illegal content or other content of the like is not tolerated. This may consist of, but is not limited to: pornography, violent material, vulgarity/profanity, mature/suggestive content and so on. This is a PG "rated" forum, and it is going to stay that way.
- Copyright Infringement: Please do not share copyrighted material on these forums. This may include, but is not limited to: text, photos and video from other websites/sources. If you have any doubt, please leave it out. It is unlawful to do so, and the end result could lead the forum being shut down.
- Unauthorized Advertising and Classified Ads: Advertisements, classified ads, promoting of 3rd party sites/services are not allowed. This also includes multi-level marketing participants: this forum is NOT the place for you to be advertising your miracle oils and cure-all fluids. Any posts that are in violation will result in removal. Member will be subjected to suspension or banishment.
- Off Topic Posts, Double Posts, Pointless Posts: Please, no off topic posts, double posting or pointless posts. This may include, but is not limited to: hijacking threads, posts containing simply 1 word, posts consisting of smilies/pictures/memes. Members that choose to do so will be subjected to their violating posts deleted.
- Vague Thread Titles: Please do not make new threads with vague titles. If you choose to create a new thread, please take the time to be descriptive with the title. A: this will be more helpful for you in the end, and B: It will others know what the thread really should be about, versus a title such as "HELP!!!!!". An ok example: "1995 Chevy Suburban - Transmission slips in 4wd".
- Disrespectful posts/comments: Members are REQUIRED to be respectful of fellow members of this forum. Any posts that are found to be disrespectful will be edited or deleted to remove the offending content. Members found in violation will be contacted and dealt with accordingly.
- HAVE FUN!!!: Have fun, and enjoy your time spent here. If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact the forum staff.
